Excuse me Andy, but why? Just because something doesn’t last forever doesn’t mean you need to fear it. A life doesn’t last forever. An ice cream cone doesn’t last forever. Sex doesn’t last forever. I’m concerned for everyone who liked or reblogged this quote. If you are going to find happiness in even the smallest pockets of your life, you better be willing to lose it one way or another. And then you find something else. And you learn to enjoy it while it’s there. This is fundamental to living and to being happy. Otherwise, you are going to drove yourself into the mad reaches of a prolonged grief with the windows up a ringing in your ears and fogged eyes. And you will miss what you might’ve met.
